Brown Rice Breakfast Bowl


1/3 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch of nutmeg
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 tsp of brown sugar or stevia
1 small banana
1 tsp peanut butter or your favorite nut butter
Handful of blueberries
Handful sliced almonds
Drizzle of syrup

Cooking Instructions

1. Put the cooked Inland Cape long grain brown rice in a bowl
2. Add the vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon to almond milk and pour over rice
3. Top with blueberries and bananas, brown sugar or syrup (sugar free is an option to keep cals low), almond slices and peanut butter.
4. Dig in and enjoy
